On August 1, 2023, Wisdom Motor (“Wisdom”) proudly hosted a groundbreaking launch ceremony for the largest-ever order of hydrogen fuel cell trucks worldwide. A total of 147 advanced hydrogen-powered refuse collection vehicles.
At the end of 2022, Wisdom had already entered a 5-year agreement with Australian Pure Hydrogen and HDrive to deliver 12,000 hydrogen fuel cell heavy-duty trucks. As of this past March, the first hydrogen heavy-duty truck destined for Australia was successfully delivered and approved by our Australian client.
This latest contract for 147 hydrogen-powered refuse collection vehicles achieves an impressive total sales value of 450 million CNY. It stands as the most substantial order for the practical deployment of hydrogen heavy-duty trucks in developed countries to date. This significant achievement also marks our first large-scale export project in collaboration with Pure Hydrogen and HDrive, with plans to deliver all vehicles within this calendar year.

This order signing is a major milestone in Wisdom’s partnership with Pure Hydrogen and HDrive, and it will significantly enhance Wisdom’s brand’s influence in the international market. Wisdom’s hydrogen-powered products have already earned substantial recognition in overseas markets, including Japan, the UK, Germany, and Australia.
The hydrogen heavy-duty truck exported to Australia today is equipped with hydrogen fuel cell systems that range from 110 kW to 400 kW, capable of a maximum range of up to 1,000 kilometers. It meets the demands of various commercial transportation scenarios, such as intercity freight and long-haul interprovincial transport. This truck distinguishes itself with Wisdom’s unique carbon fiber body covering techniques, integrated control systems, and a “fluid sculpture” design approach. With a 360° multi-sensor fusion perception system, it seamlessly combines environmentally friendly new energy with smart transportation equipment.
