On June 16, 2023, Wisdom Motor celebrated the deepening of its cooperation with customers by holding an export ceremony for the first batch of 98 vehicles to Japan at its Zhangzhou factory. Alongside this event, a signing ceremony for 1,680 new orders took place.
The successful delivery of vehicles and the conclusion of the ceremony were witnessed by Mr. Liu Yongxiang, the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Executive Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Zhangzhou Development Zone; President of EV Motors Japan, Mr. Sato; and representatives from Zhangzhou’s Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, Bureau of Commerce, Market Supervision Sub-bureau of Zhangzhou Development Zone, Environmental Protection Bureau, and international leading suppliers such as CATL, ZF, Ventura, and Daojia.
In addition to fulfilling the order of 98 pure electric buses placed by EV Motors in January 2022, the ceremony also included the signing of contracts for 120 new vehicle orders and a 5-year strategic cooperation agreement for 1,680 vehicles. The pure electric buses delivered during this event had passed Japan’s rigorous road tests in the prior year, earning the necessary qualifications for Japanese road vehicle registration. As a result, they received high praise from Japanese customers and were selected as the designated special vehicles for the Osaka World Expo 2025.
In an interview, President of EV Motors Japan, Mr. Sato, remarked, “Wisdom Motor’s vehicles are manufactured according to world-class standards, using high-quality components. Their environmental protection, safety, and economic efficiency align perfectly with our corporate philosophy. The vehicles exported to Japan this time are designated as special vehicles for the Osaka World Expo. The Japanese government previously set a goal of achieving 10,000 new energy vehicles by 2030, and we plan to continue our cooperation with Wisdom Motor to introduce more models to the Japanese market.”
Moving forward, Wisdom Motor will focus on accelerating innovation and development in high-end composite materials, artificial intelligence, and autonomous driving technologies. By speeding up its international expansion and leveraging policy and market drivers, the company aims to enhance its brand influence and drive the sustained growth of new energy vehicle exports.
