On February 5th, 2024, Wisdom Motor and the Saudi Public Transport Company (SAPTCO) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at SAPTCO’s headquarters in Riyad, Saudi Arabia, which marked the official launch of a comprehensive cooperation between Wisdom Motor and the largest public transport company in Saudi Arabia.
During the signing ceremony, the management team of Wisdom Motor engaged in a friendly and in-depth conversation with the senior management of SAPTCO. Both parties agreed to strengthen their cooperation in the development of zero-emission commercial vehicle solutions within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Wisdom Motor, along with their shareholders Templewater Group and Ballard, will work together to provide SAPTCO with advanced zero-emission vehicle solutions. These solutions will draw upon our joint extensive expertise in hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) and battery electric vehicles (BEVs). Additionally, Wisdom Motor will use its vast experience in the industry and operational know-how gained from partners such as Citybus (Hong Kong) to support SAPTCO in the manufacturing, operation, and development of green infrastructure for zero-emission commercial vehicles.
SAPTCO has partnered with Wisdom Motor, which reflects Wisdom Motor’s leadership in the global zero-emission commercial vehicle market as well as their technical strength and product quality.
During this meeting, Wisdom Motor presented its hydrogen-powered trucks and double-decker buses to SAPTCO, showcasing their innovative approach to the future of new energy transportation solutions.
SAPTCO has shared valuable insights on local bus operations and green development initiatives with Wisdom Motor. Wisdom team is excited to contribute towards promoting more environmentally friendly and efficient hydrogen-powered commercial vehicles in Saudi Arabia.
